Honorary Board Member
𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐞𝐧 served as Israel’s Ambassador to the United States from 2009-2013. He then served as a Member of Knesset and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, where he interacted with foreign leaders and defended Israel in the media. A graduate of Princeton and Columbia, Dr. Oren was a visiting professor at Harvard, Yale, and Georgetown and he holds four honorary doctorates His last three books—Six Days of War, Power, Faith, and Fantasy, and Ally: My Journal Across the American-Israel Divide—were all New York Times bestsellers.

Jordan Fisch
Having made Aliyah from Toronto in 2020, I now divide my time between Toronto, New York, and Tel Aviv. I studied Actuarial Science at the University of Western Ontario and am deeply passionate about enhancing the Aliyah process and supporting Israel’s development. As a proud property owner in Israel, I am dedicated to aiding Olim in their smooth transition to life in Israel.

Made Aliyah from New York in 2016. She lives in Raanana with her husband and 4 children. She teaches creative writing classes in English. As a board member of Tribe Tel Aviv she promotes her belief that Jewish values and learning aren’t just a part of early education but should continue into adulthood as well.
Louis Perlman
Have been involved with Jewish outreach for over 30 years. I am very committed to bringing Judaism to young professionals and in the process strengthening the future of our people. I am also passionate about building the future of Israel, have been to Israel over 50 times, and I am on the Board of various institutions in Israel. Tribe Tel Aviv brings together these two goals by building community for young Jews who have moved to Israel.
Jason Schwalbe
Jason Schwalbe is the Vice President at Hilson Management Corp., a family-owned real estate investment firm. He formerly served as Chairman for Young Leadership of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (YL FIDF), and currently is a Board Member of Carnegie Hill Neighbors, a community organization that seeks to improve and preserve the Carnegie Hill Neighborhood in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Daniel Szpilman
Dr. Szpilman made Aliyah in 2021. A lawyer by training he graduated with a PhD in Patent Law and Bioethics from the University of Zurich. He grew up in Germany, France and Switzerland and was a political commentator for a major Swiss newspaper, covering the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Israel advocacy at heart, he supports various Jewish endeavors and interest groups. He speaks 7 languages fluently and is currently based in Boston, MA where he works in Corporate Development for a Global Biopharmaceutical Company.
